Link Worker Presentations
For health and social care to explain the range of services that Headway Surrey provides, how to refer, how to seek support. Delivered by Gill Edwards, ABI Link Worker online or in person.
These presentations are free and can be adapted in length. They can be a quick 10 minute overview or slightly more detailed for 30-45 minutes, followed by Q&A.

Professional Training
Would you like a tailored training session to fit your staff or group needs. Approximately 90 minutes and includes Q&A.
Some of the topics previously covered have been the effects of brain injury and fatigue, brain injury and information processing problems, how to understand a brain injury, injury lawyers and clients issues.
Your staff or group can ask general questions to improve their knowledge of brain injury in connection with their work and we will provide answers that may include ideas and strategies to use in problematic situations. the charge for this service is £200. enquiries@headwaysurrey.org or 01483 454433
Lunch and Learn
Introduction to Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) presented by Jo Jones Baxter, Rehabilitation Coordinator. Free zoom session.
Would you like to learn more about acquired brain injury (ABI)? These 30 minute talks offer an informative introduction to ABI with an opportunity for Q&A.
Different topics will be added during the year to expand your knowledge. All professionals welcome. Held on different weekdays and at slightly different times to allow as many people as possible to participate.

Brain Injury Education Workshops
Education workshops aim to help the understanding of how brain injury affects a person’s thinking skills.

Brain Injury ID Card
The Card is designed to help the general public and Police to more easily identify brain injury survivors and ensure that they receive an appropriate response and support.

Counselling Services
A safe space to enable change without judgement where each person can explore and discuss their issues.

Family and Carers Survival Toolkit Course
Family, close friends and carers are important and need their own space and time to deal with the effects of being with and caring for someone with a brain injury.

Friday Friends Drop In
This is a FREE SERVICE and is available to anyone with an Acquired Brain Injury.

One to One Individual or Family Sessions
We offer one to one education sessions on zoom for individuals or family groups to educate and support on individual issues.

Understanding Brain Injury Course
Adults with a brain injury learn about the brain and changes to cognition, fatigue, emotion and communication.

Wednesday Coffee Morning
This is a FREE SERVICE and is available to anyone with an Acquired Brain Injury.
