How can we help?
Headway House is located in Guildford and accommodates our main office, our Resource Centre and acts as a base for our Team. The Resource Centre offers individuals the opportunity to re-learn lost skills and re-adjust to life after a brain injury. It is open 3 days a week.
The office has a helpline to answer any enquiries during office hours. Calls outside these hours will be dealt with on the next working day.
We are available to meet and discuss problems either by phone or face-to-face. The Team also facilitates the monthly Drop In, monthly Family and Carers lunch meetings and Befriending Scheme. We can help to signpost you to local services regarding funding, volunteering and employment following a brain injury.
Headway Surrey also lobbies for improved services and promotes activities which aim to reduce the incident of head injury.
CAN YOU HELP US?
Headway Surrey could not continue to provide information and services across Surrey without the help of our volunteers or without fundraising. As an independent Charity, in order to keep our services running, we rely on fundraising through the valuable support of local groups, individuals, companies and Charitable Trusts.
Quote from EC, Cognitive therapist, observing a day at Headway Surrey 2019.
"Headway Guilford is offering a unique combination of providing a social, cognitive and educational environment to individuals with cognitive impariment after brain injury.
I have learned a lot from your staff and their ability to prepare and provide a very fulfilling day for clients.
You offer a very inspirational atmosphere! Hope to see you again in the future!"
