Carers and Family Support

Family, close friends and carers are important and need their own space and time to deal with the affects of being with and caring for someone with a brain injury. These services are for you. 

Carers and Family Support Session - Second Monday every month at Headway House, North Road, Guildford, GU1 2PU 12.30-2pm.   If you are looking after a person with a brain injury this session will help you. An informal and relaxed time to talk to others in a similar situation or speak with a staff member. Free session with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, donations always welcome.  Please bring your own sandwiches or packed lunch if you would like.  

Telephone and Email Support - Family, friends and carers are welcome to contact our office for help, advice and support during office hours  01483 454433   If you ring outside office hours, we will return your call on the next working day.  (Outside of office hours there is an alternative central helpline run by the national umbrella body - Headway UK on 0808 800 2244.)
