During Covid, Art Therapy Workshops are being held on Zoom, Thursday, 10.30am-11.30am or 2pm-3pm.
Rowena or one of the specialist Rehab Team will take you through creating a picture or painting, step by step using slides on zoom.
All you need is a pencil and paper to start with. You can also use coloured pencils and water colours.
We try to accommodate all abilities. We cover, shading, perspective, animals, birds, landscapes, seascapes, buildings, boats, people, flowers, trees and lots more.
If you have no artistic flair or feel this is too advanced for you, you can still join in and enjoy colouring. We will email or post you an outline of the finished picture and you can enjoy adding colour to it whilst watching and learning from the slides, as Rowena talks through the session. This option is a great way to taking part and have some social interaction, whilst building up your confidence, fine motor skills and ability.
"Very enjoyable and stimulating session. It's like we have been friends for years".

Block of 6 one hour zoom Art Therapy Workshop sessions, once a week for a donation of £180 plus gift aid. Equates to £30 per week.
Or, try a combination - Art Therapy and Brain Injury Education Workshops, donation of £54 per week plus gift aid.
On top of this, you can use our other FREE Services.
We also offer one to one education sessions on zoom for individuals or family groups to educate and support on individual issues. Some people will find these more suitable than a group session. They are useful for individuals to learn more about their particular problems and consider options to improve living with their injury. One to one sessions are also good for spouse/partner, parents, children and family groups to understand what the person with the brain injury is going through and to learn how they can work together and support rehabilitation. £50 per session
