Sad farewells and thank you to:
Keith Churchouse retiring as Chairman after 6 years, however, he continues as a Trustee for another year. Keith received a specially bred royalty rose, "Rosa The Headway Rose" and an engraved plaque to thank him for his Awesome Chairmanship.
Jonathan Olaofe, retired after 7 years
Fred Fulcher, retired after 4 years.
Christine Badawi after 5 years.
Thank you to the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux, President of Headway Surrey, who said some kind words and handed out certificates of thanks and gifts to the retiring Trustees.
We now welcome Dr Rebecca Bowden who is the new Headway Surrey Chairman, after serving one year as a Headway Surrey Trustee.
In addition, thanks go to Andrew Wates and the Wates Family Trust Enterprise for funding three members of staff: Chloe Bunce, Rowena Tyler and Jo Jones, to undertake the nationally recognised Certificate in Brain Injury Studies from Northampton University and Headway UK. Andrew presented the certificates and bouquets of flowers to the ladies.
