As a registered charity, we have a Board of Trustees who meet regularly to guide Headway Surrey forward through the ever changing environment.

This is an important role and if you have skills that you could offer to help us deliver our programme of service to those effected by brain injury then please contact our CEO, Sonja Freebody, in the first instance at our centre in Headway House, Guildford.

We are always looking for committed, talented individuals to become Trustees.  Our current Trustees are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds, some with an interest in brain injury and others with significant areas of professional or practical expertise which they feel can contribute to the future of the organisation.  A friendly, professional bunch of committed people with a variety of skills and experience.

The Trustees are responsible for directing the strategic future of Headway Surrey and ensuring the application of good governance across its full range of activities.

We would be particularly interested in speaking to individuals who would like to make a difference to our organisation and in particular, but not limited to those who have experience of :

  • Treasurer
  • HR

There are approximately 9 trustee meetings a year at Headway House in Guildford, on a Thursday evening, 5.30pm-6.30pm.

If you feel you may have something to contribute and would like an informal discussion please send an email to Sonja Freebody, Chief Executive Officer or phone 01483 455225.

You would be making a difference to hundreds of people every year throughout Surrey and beyond.
