£16,000 – £21,000pa pro rata
Part-time, 15 hours a week, Tues, Wed, Thurs, 10am-3pm, reporting to the Services Coordinator at Headway Surrey in Stoughton, Guildford. You will be working with adults who have an acquired brain injury.
We are a small team of 7 staff and volunteers, who are friendly, dedicated and passionate about making a difference to adults with acquired brain injury.
We need someone with experience of working with people who have an acquired brain injury, or stroke. The role is varied and very fulfilling. You will be supporting clients to improve their cognitive independence and live well by improving their cognitive abilities. This will involve preparation and planning of worksheets, help with group sessions, 1:1 support and participation in group sessions, using paper and pen, iPad and an interactive screen. No personal care, is involved in this role. Extra support and training in brain injury rehabilitation will be offered to the right person.
