Carers and Relatives Support

Family, close friends and carers are important and need their own space and time to deal with the affects of being with and caring for someone with a brain injury.

Headway Surrey holds monthly lunches and Christmas lunch. They are open to ANYONE who is looking after a person with a brain injury.  Come for the whole session or as long as you want.  Very informal and relaxed.

You will be welcomed by a member of staff and these sessions are to meet people in a similar situation, share experiences, discuss issues, seek advice, talk about the world in general and hopefully have some respite and a pleasant time.

CarersSupport Lunches - Second Monday every month, 12.30-2pm. are held in different areas and venues in Surrey, eg Worplesdon Place Hotel, Inn on the Lake Godalming, Squires Garden Centre.  Everyone pays for their own food and drink.  Please contact us in advance for the location and this also enables us to reserve a big enough table.  01483 454433 enquiries@headwaysurrey.org
